Hannah Telling wins the Stair Society Bursary

Congratulations to Hannah Telling for winning the prestigious Stair Society Bursary for the academic year 2017-2018.

Hannah is an AHRC-funded PhD candidate based in the Centre for Gender History, researching towards a thesis entitled 'The legal regulation of male violence in Scotland, 1850-1914'. She is particularly interested in the intersections that existed between notions of gender and different manifestations of violence and the implications this had on judicial and cultural reactions.
