This programme will not be open for entry in 2026

Speech, Language and Sociolinguistics is being withdrawn as a stand-alone programme and will not run from September 2026. You can, however, apply for our English Language and Linguistics MSc. Within this programme, you can choose to take the identical set of courses to those offered in the Speech, Language and Sociolinguistics MSc, or choose from a more flexible range of options.
