Glasgow Chemistry Professor wins Sustainable Energy Award

Professor Duncan Gregory, WestCHEM Chair of Inorganic Materials in the Department of Chemistry, has been awarded the 2009 Royal Society of Chemistry Sustainable Energy Award for his work on energy-related materials.

Professor Duncan Gregory, WestCHEM Chair of Inorganic Materials in the Department of Chemistry, University of Glasgow, has been awarded the 2009 Royal Society of Chemistry Sustainable Energy Award, for his work on energy-related materials.

The award is recognition for the high quality and impact of the research.

Professor Gregory, who will give a series of Award lectures over the next few months, said: "I am delighted and honoured to receive the first RSC Sustainable Energy Award. This is a tribute to the hard work put in by members of my research group past and present and to the excellent network of colleagues with whom we collaborate in the Department, in WestCHEM and beyond."
