Duke students meet Presiding Officer

A group of thirteen Politics Department students have met the Presiding Officer of the Scottish Parliament, Alex Fergusson MSP for a question and answer session.

A group of thirteen Politics Department students have been involved in a question and answer session with the Presiding Officer of the Scottish Parliament, Alex Fergusson MSP.  Duke students question the Presiding Officer of the Scottish Parliament, Alex Fergusson MSP.

The group - all American exchange students from Duke University in North Carolina - spent thirty minutes in the company of Mr Fergusson on Thursday last week, along with their lecturer, Dr Martin Steven.

The Glasgow-Duke exchange programme has been running for over 25 years, involving two internationally renowned centres for the study of politics and policy.
