University of Glasgow staff who are being asked to relocate to Tay House are being urged to fill in a travel survey that went live this week (30 July).

I realise that you have already been asked to respond to a number of other surveys this year.  However, your views on the transport implications of the Tay House move are important and the Steering Group are keen to understand the subsequent impact on both your daily commute and work-related inter-campus travel. Survey message

The survey, which is being run by an independent external organisation, will help the project team provide solutions to issues linked to transport between the campuses and Tay House, parking and the provision of facilities for cyclists. It will also help inform the University's wider transport and energy strategies as work gathers pace on the redevelopment of the Gilmorehill campus and the Western Infirmary site.

The survey has been developed by the project team and approved by the steering group overseeing the Tay House move. It was trialled before being launched with the Move Leads and Representatives from Human Resources, Finance, Estates and Buildings and Planning and Business Intelligence.

The survey is being conducted under the terms of the data protection legislation and all the responses will be anonymous.  Individuals completing the survey, from the University Services teams who are moving, are being asked to input their home post codes however this is only to allow the complex pattern of commuting journeys to be mapped and the survey responses will NOT be linked to individuals.
