The British Psychological Society conference comes to Glasgow

UofG's School of Psychology is proud to be hosting The British Psychological Society (BPS) Scottish Undergraduate Student Conference on Saturday 24 March 2018. A call for papers and registration are both open.

UofG's School of Psychology is proud to be hosting The British Psychological Society (BPS) Scottish Undergraduate Student Conference on Saturday 24 March 2018 and registration is now open.

A call for papers is also open and submissions are to be made by 11 February 2018.

The conference is aimed at Psychology students in their final year of study; it will provide an opportunity to present and discuss dissertation projects with peers.

Supervisors and colleagues from other instituions are also welcomed as are students from other year groups, space permitting.

The conference will include:

  • Over 90 student presentations;
  • Prizes for the best talks;
  • Keynote speakers from eminent researchers in Psychology;
  • Futures Fair – discuss career prospects with representatives from BPS Divisions;
  • Careers Fair – meet with employers interested in recruiting the best Psychological talent;
  • Workshops – careers in Occupational Psychology; how to apply for post-graduate studies;
  • FREE lunch;
  • Evening social event (5-7pm);
  • Staff event – discuss teaching innovations and share best practice across institutions.
