UofG gets What Uni? nominations

Not one...not two...but THREE UofG nominations in this year's Whatuni Student Choice awards.

The University of Glasgow has gained no less than three nominations in the shortlist for this year's Whatuni Student Choice awards.

The UofG made it to the shortlist in the face of competition from 126 universities in the UK. The awards draw on more than 26,000 reviews from students giving opinions on what they think is great (and not so great) about their university.

The dozen categories cover every aspect of student life, from accommodation, facilities and course and lecturers to city life and students’ union. Usually there are 10 categories, but this year the organisers added an extra two - 'Giving Back' (based on how much universities are giving back to their community, either globally or locally, and 'Postgraduate'.

The University of Glasgow is shortlisted in that new Postgraduate category and also for Clubs and Societies and City Life.

The official 2017 Whatuni Student Rankings will be announced on 6 of April at a ceremony in London.  You can follow all the action on the night with the hashtag #WUSCA.
