UofG Gardeners Group

Published: 4 June 2018

The UofG Gardeners Group invite new members. Upcoming events include growing flowers for butterflies and bees and growing wildflowers.

Stuck for things to do on your lunch break?  Want to learn more about the environment, biodiversity and gardening?  Want to meet other colleagues and learn new things? Do you like freebies?.....

If the answer is yes to any of the above:  Please join the UofG Gardeners Group!

We are a relaxed group for University of Glasgow staff with an ethos of sharing knowledge, helping others to learn new things and enjoying nature and gardening.‌

We hope to deliver a set of workshops, events and talks that will bring staff together who have a shared interest in gardening and growing things.  This is a great opportunity for you to leave your desk for no more than an hour over lunch once or twice a month to find out more about biodiversity, the environment and how to cultivate and grow plants with or without a garden!

We hope this will also be an opportunity for you to meet others across the University, make connections and take a break.
