GRAB Lunch - North America

All staff are warmly invited to attend the first GRAB lunch of the new academic session, where the focus will be on North America.

All staff are warmly invited to attend the first GRAB lunch of the new academic session, where the focus will be on North America.

  • Date and time: Friday 17th October 2014, 12.30 – 13.30.
  • Venue: The Sir Alwyn Williams Building (Level 5)

Who can/should attend? Any member of staff with an interest in North America, be it professional or cultural. The lunch will be of particular interest to staff with an interest in partnership development, scoping potential research possibilities, or with a general interest in discovering what the University is doing in the region.

David FearnThe GRAB lunch (food will be provided) will include:

  • ‌An overview of the University's strategic priorities for the region over the next few years.
  • An update on North American recruitment activity.
  • A chance to meet with staff, including Professor David Fearn, the International Dean for North America, and Dr Chris Yeomans, Head of International Affairs (RIO).
  • Opportunities to discuss your work/interest in the region, and any ideas you may have for developing the University's presence there.
