Sport & Recreation celebrated another sporting success last month with the University hosting its inaugural Sport Alumni Ball in the Hilton Grosvenor Glasgow.
Sport & Recreation celebrated another sporting success last month with the University hosting its inaugural Sport Alumni Ball in the Hilton Grosvenor Glasgow, writes Grant Reilly.
We were joined by 159 alumni who spanned years of sport, represented a range of clubs and had travelled from far and wide to celebrate the Black and Gold of Glasgow.
Following a drinks reception with our alumni athletes, dinner was served before guests were entertained with two after dinner speeches, from the Principal and George McNeill.
Guests spent the remainder of the evening mingling, sharing stories of their sporting successes and reminiscing over a range of photographs and trophies brought along for the evening. It was great to see old team mates and friends re-kindling their passion for sport at Glasgow!
