HR publish new staff handbook

The HR team have revised their web pages and also produced a new staff handbook.
Human Resources have completed a major update of their website. The new-look pages have been designed to provide additional information and guidance to staff working at the University, including the benefits available to them.
Staff members are encouraged to read and become familiar with the policies of the University and the College/School/Research Institute/Service in which they work.
The website makeover has been accompanied by the publication of a new, 24 page Staff Handbook. A PDF version can be found on the website.

Acting Director of HR, Christine Barr, said: “This latest edition of the University of Glasgow Staff Handbook is designed to ensure that staff have access to the information they need about working with us and where to find additional information if required. The handbook is relevant to all staff, and new staff will receive details on how they can access the e-handbook when they join the University.
