Staff are being invited to the first GRAB lunch of the new academic session, where the focus will be on Nankai University. This event will be of interest to staff with links to Nankai University, and those who are interested in discovering more about the city of Tianjin, as well as possible areas of collaboration.  An informal buffet lunch will also be provided.

In summary, the GRAB lunch will include:

•    Details of our strategic partnership with Nankai University and the current range of collaborative activities, including the Confucius Institute.
•    A talk by Nankai students on the city of Tianjin (resources, facilities, things to do and see).
•    An update on the Joint Graduate School.
•    An outline of future activities and how staff can get involved.
•    A chance to meet with other university staff, including Professor Jonathan Cooper, International Dean for East Asia.

We would ask staff and students with current or historical links to Nankai to come along and share their knowledge and experience by giving a 5-minute presentation. If you plan on giving a short presentation, we would be grateful if you could confirm this in advance.
For catering purposes, please let John know in advance if you wish to attend.
