The latest issue of Horizons is now available. The magazine showcases innovation at Glasgow. Alongside a round up of the latest research news, the Spring 2013 edition contains features on:

• a packaging solution that can extend the shelf life of food, brought to market via a spinout company founded by Glasgow academics
• research into local attitudes towards the commercialisation of healthcare in China
• pioneering research into text and image interaction that has led to the fruitful introduction of comic books into the French curriculum
• the legacy of our famous alumnus Dr David Livingstone and the many ways in which our scientists continue to play a leading role in combating tropical diseases today.
