The University’s campus pharmacy team has picked up two national awards at the 2013 Scottish Pharmacist awards...yes, there is such a thing!

The service, run by Reach Pharmacy, won awards for Health Promotion and Business Initiative including for its campus-based travel health clinic; this adds to two previous awards, including Innovation in Pharmacy Practice.   The team were finalists in four of the award  categories, more than any other pharmacy group, and  have now  been short-listed for  10 awards over the past  18 months.

The campus pharmacy is also working closely with Macmillan Cancer Scotland, and its student volunteers, on a new, drop-in support service launched by Sir Kenneth Calman at Hillhead Library last week.
