Professor Dame Sally Macintyre, the Director of the Institute of Health and Wellbeing reflects on the work of the Medical Research Council/Chief Scientist Office Social and Public Health Sciences Unit.
This month, the Medical Research Council/Chief Scientist Office Social and Public Health Sciences Unit transfers entirely to the University of Glasgow in accordance with a UK-wide process which sees an end to direct involvement by the MRC. Phil Taylor talks to Professor Dame Sally Macintyre, Director, Institute of Health and Wellbeing, about the changes to the Unit and her own, distinguished career.
