To celebrate 30 years of nursing graduates, the Nursing and Health Care School are hosting a free public lecture on 3 October.
Dr Jean Turner Executive Director of Scottish Patients Association will open a public lecture on 3 October 2012 to celebrate 30 years of Nursing Graduates.
Olivia Giles, OBE, will make a short presentation called 'Up Close and Personal' about her personal experience of nursing. The main lecture will be given by Mary Waddell, OBE. Mrs Waddell is a retired Director of Nursing for the Eastern Board in Northern Ireland and was awarded her OBE in 2002 for services to Health Care following a 36 year commitment to nursing.
The Reception will start at 5.45pm in the Randolf Hall with the Main Lecture at 6.45pm.
