The University of Glasgow is taking part in a new scheme to help our staff and students commute to work in a healthy way! The "A Better Way to Work" project, hosted by the Bike Station, Glasgow's cycling charity aims to help Glasgow based organisations and their employees find more efficient ways of commuting and travelling for business - helping to reduce costs and encourage a healthier and happier workforce.

The Travel Surgery on 29 August will involve a one-to-one discussion with a travel expert who will help you incorporate alternative ways of commuting to your routine.

On the same day there will be a Dr Bike session being held on the campus. Dr Bike is a mobile mechanic who will service bicycles brought in on the day, totally free of charge.

Detials can be found on the Travel Planning ‘A Better Way to Work’ webpages: www.gla.ac.uk/travelplanning/abetterwaytowork
