St Petersburg University of Management and Economics visit to Glasgow reinforces ties

On Friday 20th July, Prof Victoria Marich of the St Petersburg University of Management and Economics returned to Glasgow to follow up on the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding that had taken place earlier in the year.

On Friday 20th July, Prof Victoria Marich of the St Petersburg University of Management and Economics returned to Glasgow to follow up on the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding that had taken place earlier in the year.

While here, she signed a study abroad agreement meaning undergraduates from the 11 campuses that cover the length and breadth of the Russian Federation can come to study in Glasgow.

St. Petersburg University visit: Prof Iain MacNeil (Alexander Stone Chair of Commercial Law), Angela Melley (College International Development Manager), Prof James Conroy (College International Lead), Dr Mark Aleksanyan (Lecturer in Acc & Fin), Prof Victoria Marich (Vice-Rector for International Relations (SPbUME)), Prof Andrea Nolan (Sr Vice-Principal), Prof Rosa Greaves (Head of Sch of Law)

She also met with staff from the School of Law, School of Education and the Adam Smith Business School to discuss the possibilities of joint research, 1+1 PGT arrangements and staff development for St Petersburg University of Management and Economics academic staff. The College of Social Sciences looks forward to working with St Petersburg University of Management and Economics in the future.
