Glasgow to host renowned Finnish academic

Distinguished Finnish historian Professor Henrik Meinander will launch his new book at the University
Distinguished Finnish historian, Professor Henrik Meinander of the University of Helsinki, will visit the University along with the Ambassador of Finland to the United Kingdom, Mr Pekka Huhtaniemi, on Thursday 20 October.
Professor Meinander will give a lecture to mark the launch the English version of his acclaimed new work ‘A History of Finland’ and discuss and develop future links between Glasgow and Finland.
