Can you help with Raising & Giving?

This March the SRC are looking for staff members to help promote the annual charity fundraising event, the Raising and Giving (RAG) Week

This March the SRC are looking for staff members to help promote the annual charity fundraising event, the Raising and Giving (RAG) Week, which runs from the 7 – 11 March, and aims to help local charities.

Whilst our students will be out in force running charity events, the SRC are also hoping that staff too will get involved and help raise the profile of individual events and of RAG Week itself in whatever way they can.

All the funds raised during RAG Week will go towards one of the following charities:

  • Maggie’s Centre, Dumbarton Road
  • Glasgow Women’s Aid
  • Glasgow Old People’s Welfare Association
  • Young Carers Project (GAMH)
  • Glasgow Simon Community (Help for Homeless)

 

Part of the fundraising efforts will see a number of students getting sponsored to wear the same item of clothing everyday throughout March, you can check their progress on their Facebook page:  http://on.fb.me/gXYodj
