Hetherington Inquiry update

An update on the progress of the Hetherington Inquiry
In response to its invitation to those with knowledge of the events under investigation, the Hetherington Inquiry has received 18 written statements, various other documents and information. Having reviewed that evidence the Inquiry proposes to invite a small number of individuals to provide oral evidence. Dates for those hearings have yet to be arranged but it is hoped that it may be possible to complete the fact finding part of the process before the end of July. The Inquiry expects to be in a position to issue its report no later than 4 weeks thereafter.
