The University has jumped 3 places in this year's THE Student Experience survey after students voted us seventh overall in the UK

Students from the University have rated Glasgow seventh in the UK in the Times Higher Education’s (THE) Student Experience Survey 2010.

More than 13,000 students from around the UK were asked to rate their universities on 21 aspects of student life that contribute to an overall student experience, from the quality of teaching to the price of the student union.Students, Fraser Building

Glasgow scored well across the board, particularly in terms of the quality of its facilities, staff, lectures, and social life, to improve on its 2009 ranking of tenth.

According to the results of the survey, current students at the University were also impressed with Glasgow’s social life, campus environment, and its library.

The THE offers a unique barometer student opinion because, unlike most university league tables, it is students themselves who devise the selected criteria, which was collected between September 2009 and June 2010.

Thanks to all our staff who play such a central role in making Glasgow’s student experience one of the best out there.
