His family have sent the details belwo:
Wallace, W. V. - on the 3rd of April 2011, peacefully, at Mearnskirk Nursing Home, PROFESSOR BILL WALLACE, formerly Director of the Institute of Soviet and East European Studies at the University of Glasgow.
Husband of Gulli, father of Ronnie, Patrick and Moira, father-in-law of Frances and David, grandfather of Lindsay, Calum and Henry, and brother of Joan.
Funeral at the Linn Crematorium on Tuesday the 12th of April at 3 pm.
