In mid-July 2026, the Library Management System will be replaced with a new and improved solution. This will provide a more user-friendly search interface, with improved security and greater flexibility.

Unfortunately, Saved Items in Library search cannot be migrated to the new system, so if you have any Saved Items you wish to keep, they should be exported before 14 July.

To export your Saved Items:

  1. Login to Library Search, then click the Bookmark icon to access your Saved Items
  2. Choose how you would like them to be exported - either as they appear in the list, or in a citation style e.g. Harvard
  3. Choose to:
    • Export to a citation manager like EndNote
    • Print the Items, or
    • Email the Items to yourself

Problems logging in

If you have any trouble logging in, try using an incognito window in your browser.

If you are still unable to log in, or if your Saved Items are not accessible after logging in, please submit the Library Enquiry/Help form in UofG Helpdesk.

Saved Items will still be accessible with help from Library staff after the Library System has changed, so please get in touch if you haven't exported them in time.
