Library Search is Changing!

In July 2026, we will launch our new Library Management System and upgrade Library Search.
We are working to replace our Library Management System with a new, improved solution that will deliver a better user experience.
This will include a more user-friendly Library Search interface with a global scope, allowing users to discover materials not just from UofG Library, but from Libraries around the world.
The new Library Management System and new search interface is expected to launch in mid-July 2026. More details will be shared as this date approaches.
Other benefits of the new Library Management System include:
- Improved cyber security, closing security gaps present in the out-going system
- Greater flexibility, making it easier to share data
- Internal workflow improvements for Library staff
