Forget eduroam Wi-Fi
If you can’t get connected, try 'forgetting' the eduroam network on your device.
iPhone and iPad (iOS devices)
Check for and remove the eduroam profile
- Go to Settings
- Select General
- Select VPN & Device Management
- Under Configuration Profile, tap eduroam
- Select Remove Profile
- Reconnect to eduroam
If the eduroam profile isn't on your device, then forget the network:
- Go to Settings
- Select Wi-Fi
- Tap the (i) beside eduroam
- Select Forget this Network
- Select Forget
- Reconnect to eduroam

Once you've completed the steps to forget the eduroam network, you'll need to reconnect using the instructions for your device:
macOS
If you have a UofG managed mac, you may need to request rights via the Privileges app on your device to remove network.
Check for and remove the eduroam profile
- Go to Settings
- Select General
- Select Device Management
- Select eduroam
- Select Remove Profile
- Reconnect to eduroam
If the eduroam profile isn't on your device, then forget the network:
macOS Ventura or later
- From the Apple menu choose System Settings
- Choose Wi-Fi in the sidebar, then click Details next to eduroam
- Select Forget This Network, then click Remove to confirm
- Reconnect to eduroam
Earlier versions of macOS
- Launch System Preferences
- Select Network
- Choose Wi-Fi in the sidebar and then the Advanced... button
- Select eduroam from the list of networks, and then select the remove button (-) and confirm
- Click OK and then Apply
- Reconnect to eduroam
