Terms & Conditions
- Attraction tickets and Ticket Draws are available to any member of staff of the University holding a contract of employment with the University. Excluding registered honorary & affiliate status holders, casual workers, or individuals employed directly by other organisations but paid via University payroll.
- Staff may apply for a maximum of 3 attractions in 2026. (You can see which tickets you have booked in your Booking History).
- Ticket Draws are available to all staff who have not yet won a draw in 2026.
- Winners of draws will be removed from all future draws in 2026 - we want everyone to have an opportunity to win!
- Please do NOT apply for the draw unless you are able to attend the show! Tickets cannot easily be reallocated and there has been a flurry of staff entering draws then rejecting tickets. The tickets are bought and paid for, and we do not want them to go to waste. If staff do not use the tickets then we will not be able to purchase tickets in the future. So if you enter the draw, please make sure you can attend, otherwise you are taking away the chance for another staff member to win!
- It is your responsibility to ensure the event is suitable for all members of your party.
- If you believe you will not be able to use the allocated tickets or ticket codes, please contact fergusonbequest@glasgow.ac.uk. These will be reallocated but only where possible.
- If you win but do not use your tickets, you may not apply for the same attractions or any other ticket draws within the same year.
- Tickets are non-transferable and should not be passed to another person or another staff member.
- Tickets are equivalent to event entry on the date advertised and cannot be used as a substitution for monetary value towards goods and/or services.
- The University is in no way liable or responsible for other costs incurred during visits, nor event cancellations or closures.
- Staff are required to present their staff card and any tickets on the day.
- Staff are subject to venue policies, procedures and safety measures.
- During visits, staff should be mindful that they are representing the University of Glasgow and ensure they, and members of their party, conduct themselves in a manner appropriate to the University and its values.
