UofG Print is based in the heart of the University Campus in Glasgow's West End. For the past 30 years, we have been supplying high-quality print and services to the University and its wider community.

Print Unit Supervisor

I have worked at the Print Unit since 2014, becoming Supervisor in June 2025 following the retirement of my predecessor Raymond. I’m looking forward to maintaining our high standards of quality and sevice, and continue to grow the team and expand our offering. I have a wide range of experience when it comes to delivering high quality print projects, which has including leading the Print Unit’s Exam Paper production for the past several years.

Equal parts creative and engineer, I relish a good problem to solve. Be it a physical printing conundrum or a graphic design challenge, I don’t think there’s anything a calm and logical approach can’t achieve. I strive to deliver the very best customer service I can, and that’s helped hugely by having such a supportive and enthusiastic team around me.

I am a new entry into world of print, I find it all very interesting so I'm doing my best to learn as much as possible. I help with booking in print jobs, keeping the Unit well supplied and staying on top of any other admin tasks that may need my attention. I also assist with the team's Social Media presence, which I really enjoy.

Pre-Press and Production Operator

I've been at the Print Unit since January 2023 and have over a decade of experience in the printing industry. I have also worked in retail management, SharePoint design & training, and eLearning development. Currently I work part-time, the rest of my week I study at City of Glasgow College for an HND in Fine Furniture Craft and Design, into which I incorporate my leatherworking craft.

The Print Unit’s resident Canadian! Educated in Graphic Design, I joined the print industry in 2021 at a small print shop where I fell in love with all things wide format. In 2024 I took a break from print to join a digital marketing agency where I created websites, designed social media graphics, and edited short videos. Since joining the Print Unit I have been sharpening my skills and becoming a versatile member of the team – from file setup to installation.

I’ve spent much of my life as part of the University. From attending the Nursery as a child and working my first job in the Gift Shop to graduating with a degree in Digital Media and Information Studies and now as part of the Print Unit Team! I am passionate about the University community and enjoy building relationships with student societies and local businesses.
