Visit the Hunterian Zoology Museum and discover the amazing microscopic worlds that can be found all around you. We invite you to join us on a moss safari searching for tiny animals under the microscope, such as tardigrades, nematodes, mites and more! Explore the museum exhibits through our trail and learn more about these fascinating species. And create your own minuscule worlds through fantasy stories, drawings and crafts, with the help of English Literature researchers from both the Universities of Glasgow and Strathclyde.
This activity is part of Glasgow Science Festival 2026, and is free and open to all!
