Transmedia is becoming increasingly common in the modern media landscape. This is the process of developing a television series or film based on pre-existing intellectual property (IP), and video games are being used much more regularly as source material. Think HBO’s The Last of Us series, the Minecraft movie, and Amazon’s Fallout series.
This interactive workshop is designed to put you in the director’s chair with a video game case study, making strategic decisions to develop the IP into a television series or film.
