‘It Wisnae Us’ — an exhibition by the Coalition for Racial Equality and Rights (CRER) — is now on display in the Main Hall of the Hunterian Museum.
The exhibition provides an insight into the role of transatlantic slavery in Glasgow's past, telling a story through the buildings and streets that have a tangible link with slavery. Illustrating the links between tobacco, slavery and abolition, it also inspired the book of the same title.
