In collaboration with Glasgow University Sports Association (GUSA) and UofG Sport, join us for a fun and friendly pickleball taster session celebrating the 2025 Refugee Week theme of Community as a Superpower. This event is a celebration of sport’s unique ability to bring people together across cultures, languages, and backgrounds. Whether you are on the court or cheering from the side lines, sport creates shared moments, encourages teamwork, and helps build meaningful connections.
The session is open to students and staff with lived experience of displacement, along with advocates, allies, and friends from refugee backgrounds. Whether you have never picked up a paddle or are just curious to try something new, you’ll find a supportive, friendly space where everyone is welcome. You will also have the opportunity to partake in a guided tour of the Stevenson Building - to see everything that UofG Sport has to offer.
No experience needed – comfortable clothes and trainers recommended.
