In 2019, Manon Brulard set out on a journey cycling from Brussels to Tokyo, where she met and interviewed inspiring women across the globe. The result, Women Don’t Cycle, is a film about what it means to be a woman cycling in different countries around the world, and the stories they have to tell. It is also a fascinating experiment in what it takes to make safe, sustainable travel possible for everyone.
The film will be introduced by Kassandra Moosbrugger, whose research at the University of Glasgow looks at ways to promote active travel, and how communities can act collectively to embrace walking, wheeling and cycling practices.
A free, brown bag lunch is provided for all attendees. Please provide any dietary requirements when booking.
