SCCA Postgraduate Symposium on Practice-Based Research

School of Culture & Creative Arts | College of Arts
Date: Monday 12 June 2023
Time: 11:00 - 16:30
Venue: Advanced Research Centre, University of Glasgow
Category: Academic events, Student events

The School of Culture & Creative Arts has a growing number of practice-based PhD researchers – producing original research though film, music, media, curation and performance. This half-day interdisciplinary symposium will bring those researchers together in an informal sharing and networking event. Students will present some of their work-in-progress and discuss the challenges and rewards of researching through practice. Supervisors and School academics will also be present to give their own insights into practice-based research.

The event is free and open to all staff and research students – everyone is welcome. Lunch and refreshments will be provided.
