We are delighted to invite you to the 10th Andrew Carnegie Lecture with Afua Hirsch, a well-respected journalist, presenter, documentary filmmaker and author.

Titled ‘The Re-enchantment of the World’, Afua Hirsch explores what it would mean to truly decolonize our thinking - for social justice, physical and mental health, cultural cohesion, and an environmentally sustainable future.

This year's lecture will take place on Wednesday 31 May 2023 at 6 pm within the Sir Charles Wilson Lecture Theatre. If you are unable to make it in person to the lecture you can also watch the event live on our webpages.

The Andrew Carnegie Lecture Series, which is generously funded by the Carnegie Corporation of New York, aims to bring some of the world's most significant thinkers to Scotland to engage with local audiences in a lively exchange of knowledge and ideas in the arts, sciences, education and international affairs.
