What’s on offer?

The UK Collaborative Centre for Housing Evidence (CaCHE) will host a hybrid event in Glasgow.

It will include presentations from CaCHE researchers and co-investigators that will highlight the key successes of the centre over the first phase of funding. The short and engaging presentations will include interesting visuals, animations, and testimonials from our research users.

It will offer attendees an insight into CaCHE achievements over the first funding period and an opportunity to reflect on the impact that our research has had in each of the devolved nations.

Following the presentations there will be an opportunity for participants to ask questions of the panel, and set challenges for CaCHE phase 2, which is set to commence in November 2022.

What’s it about?

Since 2017 the UK Collaborative Centre for Housing Evidence has been producing important and impactful research on one of the most important aspects of our lives, our home.

We’ve covered a huge range of topics such as energy efficiency, affordability, adapting homes to meet the needs to residents, design and planning of communities, and the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on the meaning of home. At this event, the CaCHE team will present a showcase of our research so far and highlight the impact that this has had on communities, housing policy, and wider housing academia. Attendees will have the chance to put questions to the researchers and share what they consider our priorities should be ahead of the launch of our next phase of research.

Who’s leading the event?
