Katherine Heavey Memorial Lecture
Our much-loved colleague Dr. Katherine Heavey died in 2022. Katherine was an expert on early modern classical adaptation and in addition to numerous articles and chapters, she was well-known for her monograph The Early Modern Medea: Medea in English Literature, 1558-1688 (Palgrave Macmillan, 2015). She was also a fine teacher who made a difference to the lives of many students. English Literature at Glasgow is proud to support this inaugural public lecture in Katherine’s memory.
