The importance of diversity and inclusion in the workplace and wider society has accelerated during the Covid pandemic and is part of the ‘Build Back Better’ narrative. Large companies are under increasing pressure from regulators, investors and employees to be more transparent on plans and actions to address the lack of diversity within their employee populations and supply chains. Making progress on D&I requires shifting mindsets, developing new language and skills, changing internal structures and agreeing metrics that demonstrate success. This session explores these issues and suggests how to approach progressing diversity and inclusion in a strategic way.
