Glasgow has two registered clinical trials units (CTUs) - Glasgow CTU and Cancer Research UK Glasgow CTU, who in partnership with NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde Research and Innovation and the Population Health Research Facility provide investigators with support, at a local, national or international level, for clinical trials and other well-designed studies, including their concept, design, implementation, management, regulatory compliance, statistical analysis, and reporting.
We are delighted this year that Professor Iain McInnes, Vice Principal and Head of the College of MVLS, will present the Forum’s keynote lecture. His lecture will be followed by a series of brief presentations from the CTUs and partner organisations, including support for Patient and Public Involvement in clinical trials. The event will close with a Q&A event with the presenting panel of speakers.
