Destination Research aims to inspire and educate you about the University’s vital role in tackling society’s greatest challenges. Each year, researchers at the University of Glasgow make discoveries that will benefit the lives of people across to the UK, and we want to give you the chance to hear from some of our leading researchers as they focus on how their research will transform lives in the local community and beyond.
Over the course of the evening you will hear from:
- Professor Lee Cronin, our Regius Chair of Chemistry
- Daniele Faccio, Professor of Quantum Technologies
- Kate Oakley, Professor of Cultural Policy
- Dr Mia Perry, Co-Director of Sustainable Futures of Africa
- Andrew Tobin, Professor of Molecular Pharmacology
The event will also provide an opportunity for you to find out more about the research groups who will be moving into the Research Hub, our new multidisciplinary flagship research building which will be situated on the newly extended campus.
