Graduation Film chosen for Film Festival

“Kaleidoscopic games metaphorically play with the multiplicity of identities, sexuality, codes, taboos, colors and words." This is the eclectic synopsis for “ Fluid”, a graduation film by Frankie Zhou. Her exceptional piece has been selected for the Scottish Queer International Film Festival in Glasgow. (27 September - 1 October 2017). It is an experimental film in which a bisexual woman from China, living in Scotland, explores her identity.

Dr Holger Mohaupt, Course Convenor MSc Filmmaking & Media Arts, School of Culture & Creative Arts said of the film: "It is a courageous film, beautifully shot and thoughtfully narrated”. Fluid is screened in the SQIFF Shorts programme: Queer Scotland III on Sunday 1st October.
