He made a tremendous contribution to the University where his exemplary dedication and integrity earned him widespread respect and admiration.

An choral and organ concert on Friday 3 June has been organised in his memory, and all University staff, students and friends are invited to attend. The concert will feature the renowned University Chapel Choir, and acclaimed organist Kevin Bowyer, with James Grossmith and Ben Fowler.
