Postgraduate Certificates and Diplomas in Sonic Arts

Students studying for a Postgraduate Certificate in Sonic Arts must produce a composition portfolio of 15 minutes music accompanied by a critical commentary of up to 2000 words. They will work a member of academic staff on this project and attend research seminars and workshops.

Students studying for a Postgraduate Diploma in Sonic Arts must produce a second composition portfolios of 15 minutes music accompanied by critical commentaries of up to 2000 words. They will continue to work with a member of academic staff and attend relevant research seminars and workshops.

Progression to the MMus (Research)

Students who successfully complete any of the Postgraduate Diplomas are eligible for progression to the MMus (Research) in Music. We particularly welcome applications from students who wish to progress to the MMus (Research).
