Civic Engagement & External Partnerships
In keeping with University and College strategy, Arts Lab encourages working with communities, institutions and organisations in order to co-design projects that create impact and opportunity in Glasgow and beyond.
Through the research we support, we focus on building equitable and sustainable partnerships within the city of Glasgow, the UK and internationally. These include interdisciplinary research collaborations and knowledge exchange activities, such as those facilitated by our innovative Partnership Labs.
We promote productive research links with other Colleges and with the University’s outstanding museum, art and research collections at the University Library, the Hunterian and Kelvin Hall. Glasgow’s rich cultural sector is a vital area for engagement for Arts Lab.
Arts Lab is a key participant in the University's Smithsonian Institution Strategic Partnership and in the Memorandum of Understanding with the National Library of Scotland. Arts Lab is a member of the Consortium of Institutes of Advanced Study (CIAS), UK.
For enquiries about partnership, contact the Dean of International and External Partnerships, Professor Zoë Strachan.
