University of Konstanz, Germany

The Universität Konstanz (University of Konstanz) was founded in 1966. It is one of eleven German 'excellence universities'. It is consistently ranked among the top 250 in the world.

Konstanz is a city of 80,000 inhabitants in the very south of Germany. It is close to the Swiss border and is located on the shores of Lake Constance, the largest lake in Germany. Its proximity to the Alps and lake-side setting make it a sought-after holiday destination. The students of Konstanz inject a lively buzz and an upbeat bar scene into the town otherwise defined by its cobbled, alley-woven old town and its wide harbour.
