The Aix-Marseille Université (Aix-Marseille University) is a public university. With 72,000 students, it is the largest university in the French-speaking world.

Marseille is a port city in the south of France and the second biggest French city. It has long been a multicultural and creative hub and boasts stunning medieval, Hausmannian and contemporary architecture. A big network of cycling paths connects sites, boutiques and sandy beaches. In 2013, Marseille held the title of European Capital of Culture and it is a place known for a maritime heritage and cutting-edge creative spaces.
