The University's "Cycle to Work" scheme - Cycle Plus.

Hire a bicycle from the University for your commuting and save on tax and national insurance contributions.

Cyclists can now request their security marking pack, including marking pen and bicycle passport. Please contact the Travel and Transport Co-ordinator for your pack.

 How to claim business mileage allowance when using your bike (or motorbike) for work purposes

 A bicycle emergency repair kit is available for use on the Main Gate House, University Avenue. It consists of lubricant, puncture repair kits, a pump and an all-purpose tool. All University cyclists are welcome to use it. Please let the Travel and Transport Co-ordinator know what you have used, so that replacement can be organised.

To report road and lighting faults to Glasgow City Council/other local authorities, phone hotline number 0800 373635 (freephone) or report online here.

Examples of the faults this service deals with: emergencies, potholes, broken or uneven paving stones, unlit streetlights (every lighting column is numbered - it helps if the number is quoted), vandalised road signs, faulty traffic lights, broken safety barriers, blocked road drains and gullies, road flooding, icy roads and pavements, collapsed road surface exposed electrical wires in lighting columns, lighting column or tree blown across a road, damaged or missing bridge parapets, branches obscuring a road sign.
