Optical Society award for Miles Padgett
One of UofG's leading researchers has received a major award in recognition of his contribution to optical physics.

Doctor Roona Simpson
Many tributes have been paid to Doctor Roona Simpson, a lecturer in the School of Social and Political Sciences, whose death has just been announced. A memorial service in the University Chapel is being held next month.
