Glasgow Paediatric Research Day 2020 Report

The 11th Glasgow Paediatric Research Day was held on Friday 6th November, 2020 and featured an invited speakers' plenary session entitled, "A Practical Pragmatic Approach To Research", hosted by Dr Ben Reynolds, Consultant Paediatric Nephrologist (The Royal Hospital for Children, Glasgow).   Dr Sally Johnson (Great North Children's Hospital, Newcastle, UK) gave a presentation on "The Highs and Lows of leading a multi-centre clinical trial - a candid account"  followed by Dr Lisa A Robinson (The Hospital for Sick Children, (Sick Kids) Toronto, Canada) with her talk on "A career as a physician-scientist ; Challenges and Opportunities"

RCPCH  approved this activity for CPD in accordance with the current RCPCH CPD Guidelines

Due to Covid-19 and related restrictions, this event was held by Zoom Webinar. 

Next year's event will be held on Friday 5th November, 2021 and will be hosted by consultants from paediatric cardiac services at the Royal Hospital for Children, Glasgow.
