The University’s School of Veterinary Medicine will be appearing on the small screen once again as the focus of a new documentary on Channel 4.

Small Animal Hospital, produced by Glasgow-based Tern TV, will be broadcast every weekday from Monday 3 November for three weeks from 1:40 pm.

The programme sees John Barrowman meet the animals and owners that pass through the doors of the Small Animal Hospital and the School of Veterinary Medicine to receive treatment from our highly-skilled veterinary surgeons.

Viewers will meet dogs, cats, pigs, reptiles, horses and more throughout the series, which also aims to address some of the issues with pet behaviour.

The SAH is one of the most sophisticated animal hospitals in Europe and provides companion animals from across the UK with advanced healthcare 365 days a year.
